The secre- tary, Mrs.Betty Turner, reported and the financial statement was presented by Mrs.Alice Farrow. Mrs .Lang reported no one had been able to at- tend the weekend meeting of the Division held in Port Arthur last weekend. Members discussed the choice of a delegate to the Terrace Bay Centennial Committee after reading an invitation from Council- lor W.E.Cavanaugh. A member will be assigned before the first meeting. The Brownies have made posters an- nouncing their collection of old nylons for Nov.5 after 4.0'clock. These are to be placed around town. Plans were made to have two Brownies from each pack present their collection to the L.A. November !5 who will ship them to the Rehab.Centre in Fort William. Mrs .A.Cadieux will accompany the Brownies . All UNICEF boxes have been given out for the penny collection Hallowe'en night. Receiving the boxes after col- lection will be Mesdames S.Mikus, A. Mrs.Turner and Mrs. Lang paid a visit to Mrs.Fournier's Brownie Pack recently and found them to be very well behaved as they held their meeting. Committee reports were given by Mrs.|.Kettle, Mrs.M.Simmer (who stated 16 badges had been suc- cessfully passed since September) - Mrs.Gertrude rs.H.Hiebert who, as Ways and Means Convenor displayed poems which will go out to all Mothers and members during November for the "Pretend '| you were there Tea". Miss Elaine Long was thanked for preparing the material . Mrs.Helen Brooks requested an or- der for two dozen brownie pins sent out. The next meeting will be held in the Community Church Hall on November 22 at 8.15. There will be no meeting in December and the annual meeting in January.
