Marie and Miss Laura Summer- ville, also of Sault Ste. Marie. Miss Jeanne McCuaig is visiting with Mr. and Mrs | Bruce Myers in Clio, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Message of Hamilton visited old friends here this week. Mr. Message is now principal of Millgrove school in Hamilton. It was a return of boyhood scenes with much reminiscing over earlier carefree days, and, some 'deeds that were dark' and now confessed. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Weaver with daughters, Daryl Lynn, Wendy and Billie are visiting Flt. Serg. Herb. Foss and his family in North Bay. Mrs. Foss and Mrs Weaver are the former Harper sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Krause have the latter's cousin } and family Mr. and Mrs. Siegfried Krause, Michael and Anthony of Acapulco, Mexico as their guests. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Woods of Flint, Michigan are visiting old friends here. Mrs. Frank Grover and daughter Dawn of Prince Rupert B.C. are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Speziale. Mr. and Mrs. Roly Stortini have the latter's parent: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cattani of Port Arthur visiting them. Miss Patsy Sabbowich of Hubbard, Sask. is visiting her aunts Mrs. Harry Shack and Mrs. Paul Huminicki Jim McDonald of Gordon Lake, Ont. visited his uncle John St. Jean and his family last week. Mr .and Mrs .Ron Morris of Windsor visited with their parents, Mr.and Mrs.John Morris and Mr.and Mrs. H.Howard last week. Howard last week. Dr. D.A. Hart with sons Murray and Gordon of Arrow, Ont. have been visiting Harry Hart and son Robin, spending most of their time at Harry's camp at Lyne Lake, fishing. This week Harry's sister and mother, Mrs. Eileen McPherson and Mrs. Margaret Hart, of Brockville, will arrive for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Murphy are visiting their daughter Lorraine, Mrs. S. Sopel and fami ly in Regina and daughter Pat, Mrs. Bryan Stewart and family in Duncan, B.C. Mrs. Austin Cosgrove is visiting her sister Mrs. W. McMullen in Ceylon, Ont. Mr .and Mrs. Bill Gerow and Mary Ellen are vaca- tioning with Mr.and Mrs.Ted Wainikka in Montreal, with Mr.and Mrs.Peter King in Wardsville and with other relatives in the Toronto area. Mr.and Mrs .Peer Portner and daughters Cathy and Karen of Montreal are visiting Mr.and Mrs.V . E.Everitt, Mrs.Portner's pa rents. Mr .and Mrs.Wesley Clemens and their daughters have returned from camping near Wiarton, visiting relatives in that area and with Mr.and Mrs .Eddy i Grant in Nobel, Ont. Visiting with Dr.and Mrs.G.K.Searles at the Lake are Mr.and Mrs.Alva Kelly with Elva, Gerald, Patricia and Lorraine, from Scarboro. Mrs.J.D.McCoshen of Fort Willian spent the weekend with Mr.and Mrs.Hilary O'Brien, driving down with Miss Juanita Stewart of Port Arthur who visited Mrs.and Mrs.Hugh Stewart. Rev.R.J.S.Inshaw and Mrs .Inshaw are spending their vacation visiting relatives in Toronto, Oshawa and other centres in eastern Ontario. Mr.and Mrs .Chas.Ewart of Geraldton are the guests of Mr.and Mrs .Bill Randa, visiting also Mr. and Mrs.Ray Cote. Anna Fummerton is visiting her aunts, Mrs.Howard Showers in Simcoe and Mrs.Jack Robinson in Burling- ton. A very happy family gathering is taking place in the home of Mr.and Mrs .Sanford Chicoine. Among those present are their son Gerard, his wife and daughter, of Windsor - Mrs.Chicoine's brother Wil- fred of Sudbury and brother Gaston of Manitouwadge, her uncle, Rodolphe Petland of Sudbury and her sister and husband, Mr.and Mrs.Cyril Gagnon of Sturgeon Falls. Mr.Chicoine's mother, Mrs.Joan Chicoine of Hearst, was with them last week. Mrs.Leo Bryar, who is leaving to make her home in Marathon, was honored at a farewell party given by forty friends in Mrs.Edgar Ray's home on Thursday evening. On behalf of the others, Mrs. Bill Cocks presented a candy dish and money corsage to Mrs.Bryar, wish- ing her happiness in her new home.
