' THE NEWS Miss Susan Kragero is home from Toronto visiting her parents and will return there to teach again this year. George (Bucky) McCouan, RCAF, of Clear Lake. Man., is home visiting his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Manuel McCouan. Mr.and Mrs.Gordon Johnson of Sarnia have been visiting Mr.and Mrs.lvan Johnson, the two men bro- thers. Raymond Niemi and Earl McCouan are home from Windsor, Ont., visiting their parents and other rela- tives. Mr.and Mrs.Eddy Macchi of Port Arthur came down last week to reclaim daughters Rosemarie and Louise who had been with grandparents, Mr.and Mrs .Frank Figliomeni while their parents were vacationing in the States. Miss Sheila McParland is visiting her grandparents in North Bay. Mr.and Mrs.Charlie Vincent of Toronto and Mr .and Mrs.Telford Wright and family of Acton are visiting Mr.and Mrs.Jack Rigelsford. Mr.and Mrs .Rigelsford leave shortly for a visit with their daughter and her family at Espanola, their son and family in Toronto and other relatives in the Port Hope area. The name of Mrs. W.E.Duncan was inadvertently Amitted from those attending the farewell party for Mrs. im Einarson. Mr .and Mrs .Bill Cook and family are holidaying in Bruce Mines with his parents. Mr .and Mrs .Russell McDonald (Hilda Saunders), of Sault St.Marie, are visiting old friends here. Jim McCuaig of Toronti is visiting his grandparents, Mr .and Mrs.Lester McCuaig. Mr.and Mrs. Jim McCuaig and Mr.and Mrs.Tom McCuaig spent the weekend with Mr.and'Mrs.A.B. McCuaig. Mr.and Mrs .Bill Gerow and daughter Mary Ellen left for their vacation, returning grandson Brad Wain- ikka home to Montreal. They will also visit in the Toronto area. Mr.and Mrs.V.E.Bveritt have Mr.and Mrs.Peer | Portner with daughter Cathy and Karen, of Montreal, as their guests. Mr .and Mrs. Bill Thrower have the latter's brother and wife, Mr.and Mrs.Louis Nuttall of Hurkett, vis- iting them. Mr.and Mrs.George Duncan have Mr.and Mrs. Doug Murray (Helena Duncan) with Sandra, Heather, Linda and George, of Winnipeg, visiting them. Mrs.George Cataford will enter Port Arthur Gener- al Hospital this week. Her Schreiber neighbor, Mrs. Pat LeBlanc was transferred from St.Joseph's Hospital to the General this week and will remain there for three weeks. Mr .and Mrs.Lloyd Gawley and family of Toronto spent last week with Gl en Gawley. Mr.and Mrs.Lloyd Peters of Winnipeg with sons Jim and Bobby, visited Mr.and Mrs.Harold Gellert. Mrs. Peters is Harold's sister. Mr.and Mrs .Irving Cosgrove returned to Fort Wil- liam after visiting Mr.and Mrs.Austin Cosgrove. Now while Mrs.Cosgrove is visiting her sister, Mrs.E.D. McMullen in Ceylon , Ont., Mrs.Lyng Cosgrove and daughter Allison of Port Arthur are staying with Grandma Cosgrove who makes her home with Austin's family. Mr.and Mrs. Herold Gellert and family are visiting Mr.and Mrs.Tom Bourke in Ottawa. Mr.and Mrs.Ted Morrow and family are spending their vacation in Minneapolis where Ted hopes to enjoy some ball games. Mr.and Mrs.Neil Bottomley had the latter's nephew and wife, Mr.and Mrs.Jim Deighton of Calgary with them last week, enroute to Toronto. Mr.and Mrs.Bob Spadoni and family will share a holiday with Mr.and Mrs. Bill Cocks and their family, taking along Judy St.Jean, in Duluth. Mr .and Mrs.Lawrence Martin and family of Nipi- gon visited Mr.and Mrs.lvan Martin. Also with the Martins were Mr.and Mrs.Ben Martin, bringing home Justin and Curtiss who had holidayed with them at Loon Lake. Mrs. Bob Jackson and family are visiting Mr .and Mrs .Bill Fadden. The two women are sisters and Mrs. Jackson is enroute from Atikokan to a new home in . Dryden. Miss Pat Potvin of Seven Islands, Quebec 'is the guest of her aunt and uncle, Mr.and Mrs.J.G.(Bun) Scott, visiting other relations in town also.
