Attending physicians were Dr.D.J.M.McCausland and Dr.L.N.Roberts. At that time Mr.and Mrs. McMaster resided at 5 Pine Crescent. He was em- ployed on the dredging project for the water intake. Recent visitors at the home of Mr.and Mrs.Leo Rajatte were his mother, Mrs.lda Rajotte, his sis- ter, Aline Rajotte, his brother Marc with his wife Marlene and daughter Shelley. All are residents of St. Boniface, Manitoba. Mr.and Mrs.Gary Galvin and children have re- turned home after a two week vacation in Wiscon- sin. Mr .and Mrs.J.Vienneau recently entertained her brother and sister-in-law, Mr.and Mrs.Allan Brideau and daughter Pauline, of Stony Creek, Ont. also Mrs.Rose Maillet of Sturgeon Falls. Mr.and Mrs .Sandy Crawford left Sunday for the West. Prior to leaving Sandy's fellow workers entertained him and presented a wallet with their good wishes. A party was held for Mabel on Sat- urday evening at the Legion Hall. On behalf of those present Dodie Bougie presented the guest of honor with a corsage, Chanel perfume and money. Attending a reception held at the home of Mr.and Mrs.Howard Woods were Miss Linda Gray of Fort William, Mr.and Mrs.H. Coe, Bruce Lundberg, Elaine Rajotte, Mr.and Mrs. D .Caldwell, all of Terrace Bay,Mr.K.Plortuzak, Mr- Mr .R «Tracey and Mr.and Mrs.W.Holowitz and fam- ily, all from Trenton, Michigan. Hosts for the occa- sion were Mr.and Mrs.H.Wood and Mrs.P.Gambel of Port Arthur. Mrs. S.Synishin visited recently in Toronto and St. - Catherines with her sister, Miss |.Balan. A baby shower was held on July 5th in the Com= munity Church Hall in honor of Mrs.Doug Knight. Arrangements for the affair were made by Mrs.Kay Jeanneret' and Mrs.Kay Weppler. Girls of the Mill Office Staff assisted. The many beautiful gifts were presented in a decorated wishing well and a delicious luncheon was served to conclude a pleasant evening Mr .and Mrs.Tony Delaronde were the guests of honor at a Farewell Party held in the Curling Lounge on Friday, July I7th. On behalf of their friends an oil painting by Mrs. Mary Middaugh and a hand tooled wallet containing some money were presented to Tony and Germaine, who leave on Wednesday to make their home at the Lakehead. Followiag an evening of entertainment and danc- ing lunch was served. Mr.and Mrs.Doug.Knight are happy to announce the arrival of their chosen son, James David.
