Track workouts will start this Thursday and anybody that is interested in Track and Field, is welcome to attend. You may register for Track and Field at the Recreation Office. The age limit is 13 years and over. The temperature has never this year been lower than 70 degrees farenheit and we main= tain to hold a temperature between 70 degrees and 78 degrees farenheit at all times. A district leaders Ceramic work=shop will be held in Terrace Bay during the month of October. This course is being sponsored by the Community Prog- rammes Division Of The Department of Education, The Terrace Bay Recreation Association, and the Terrace Bay Arts & Crafts Club. Mrs. M. Middaugh is the course co-ordinator. This course is being designed for people who are interested in improving their skills in Ceramics. Candidates from outlying areas are expected to attend. Golf News Not quite two years in operation and the Aqua- sabon Golf Course is emerging from it's shell and making itself known in the various tournaments in the district. Recently Emile Stokaluk and Al Pattison entered the Port Arthur tournament and showed up quite well considering the keen competition. The next tournament coming up will be in Red Rock and already there are seven entries from Terrace Bay. These were made possible by entry of the local club in the Thunder Bay Golf Association. This association will enable any local member to part- icipate in district tournaments.
