Counc .Brown brought in estimates for reflectorized street mar- kers and it was requested to get estimates for stop signs also. Reeve Adamo requested he limit parking on corners by St.Martin's Church. Councillor Fraser remarked on the quiet month by the Fire Department and the Bush Fire equip- ment received which would be moved to their new storage area after it is marked. Reeve Adamo discussed at length the meeting he attended of the Municipal League, pertaining to the Home for the Aged, a District Assessor and ad- ministration, and was questioned by Councillors. GOLF CLUB NEWS The Terrace Bay Aguasabon Golf Club held their annual general meeting last Thursday, May 3th, in the Curling Club Lounge. The turnout, though less than expected, was still good. President Jack Thomas chaired the meeting and gave the members an up-to-date account of the past year's activities and future plans for the Course. The election of directors returned Jack Phillips, Joe Adamo, Joe Caccamo and Bill Hanley--the lat- ter being the fourth and new director. Ross Mitchell expressed regret at not being able to run for office. Ross did a fine job last year and deserves a lot of credit. His services were much appreciated. A Director's meeting was held after adjournment at which time the following executive and commit- tee chairmen were elected:- President Jack Thomas, Vice-President Thor Olsen, Secretary W.Hanley, Treasurer Al Pattison, Member- ship Chairman Dave Desrosier - Entertainment & Publicity Joe Adamo - House Committee Jack Phillips. The only business conducted was acceptance of Carling's donation made by Norm. Bar- rington. This donation must be used for tournament prizes. Joe Caccamo and E.Stokaluk will arrange a local Men's Tournament which will begin on May 24th and end on May 30th.
