BK BRCs ACCIDENT VICTIM BURIED IN TERRACE BAY Requiem High Mass was sung Tuesday morning in St.Martin's Roman Catholic Church for Mrs .Estelle St.Denis, killed accidentally Saturday, May 8. Very Rev.Dean E.A.Gallagher was attended by Rev .Father J.M.Cano of Schreiber and the St. Martin's Church Choir. Pallbearers were Raoul and Simon Cormier, Don Laporte, Hyacinthe Landry, Len Swirhun and Arthur LeBlanc. Ushers were Roland Sinotte and Joe Campbell. Interment was in the Terrace Bay Ceme- tery with Graveside Prayers by Dean Gallagher . Born and raised in New Richmond, Quebec, Mrs. St.Denis, age forty, was the daughter of Mr.Leo LeBlanc and the late Mrs.LeBlanc. She had worked in a Children's Hospital in Montreal and St.Joseph's Hospital, Sudbury before moving to Terrace Bay in 1959 where she married Edward St.Denis August 8, 1959. Surviving are her husband, children Francine Lucille, Edward, Andre and Patricia at home, her father, Leo LeBlanc of New Richmond, sisters (Francoise) Mrs.Laurent Dumais, (Adele) Mrs .Jean Dumais, (Aurella) Mrs.Leonard Cormier, brother Conrad, all of Montreal, sister (Rita) Mrs Raoul Cormier of Terrace Bay, brothers Edmond of Hanmer, Ontario and Glemenrof Azilda, Ontario. , SCHREIBER ST. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE MEET The Women of the Moose met on Wednesday even- ing in the Terrace Bay Moose Home with the Senior Regent Ann Didura presiding. The regular business was discussed and New Horizon certificates presen- ted. Nomination of officers took place and elec- tions will be held on May 19. Members are urged to be present for the voting. Doreen Kurylo, Membership Chairman, was in charge of Chapter Night program with the raffle of a beautifully decorated cake won by Theresa Gau- det. The Academy of Friendship group also raffled a Pole Lamp which went to Theresa Paradis of Schreiber . A delicious lunch was then served by Doreen Kurylo Delores Tychoniak and Helen Almos. The Afternoon Group of the Ladies Auxiliary cor- dially invite all ladies of the Community to attend their meeting Monday afternoon at 2:15 in the Ter- race Bay Community Church. At this time films will be shown on the processing and canning of Canadian foods and a second on Cancer. Luncheon will be served. (Continued p+)
