The ladiessenjoyed several games and Martha | Strome assisted the hostesses in serving lunch. Sympathy is extended to Clarence Buck on the Sharon Uschenko and children of Sault Ste. Marie are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Marquis for two weeks. She was accompanied down for the weekend by her husband John. Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Fecteau of Port Arthur were also guests of the Marquis' over the weekend. Mr. Harry Ward is visiting with his son Mr. A, Ward and family in Fort William, SCHREIBER ST. GOSPEL MISSION - Mr. Ron Sheffield - 11:00 A.M. - Family Hour 73:00 P.M. - Gospel Bible Hour - 77:00 P.M. - Prayer Meeting ee SSS SSS REMEMBRANCE DAY TEA HELD The Remembrance Day Tea held annually by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, was a well-attended event on Wednesday afternoon, in St, Martin's Church Hall. Welcoming the guests to the hall fes- tooned with red, white and blue, were Presiden Mrs. Doris Marcella and Convenor Mrs. H. Solly Flanked by white tapers in tall silver candlelabra a motif of aircraft, armoured vehicles, soldiers and paratroopers centred the tea table, the words "Lest We Forget? in red poppies on the draped white cloth. Pouring during the afternoon were Mesdames J. Fisher, '. V. Fedorak, S, Benko, S. Gusul, J. Mercier, R. Johnson, M. Woodruff and D, Marcella. The individual tea tables each centred with a minature remembrance and flag were served by daughters of Veterans: Betty Yates, Verna and Barbara Daley, Mary Clare Coupal, Lita Marie Boudreau and Karen Lundberg, Replenishing were Mesdames M. Crawford and I. McInnes. A busy spot with the children was the Fish Pond attended by Mrs. D. Ballentine. The well laden Bake Table was convened by Mesdames D, Coupal and P, Daniels and Mrs. S, Gusul had charge of the Sewing table. Mrs. E. Boyd was in charge of tea tickets.
