Arthur Health Unit were in town on business recently. UCW HOLD SUCCESSFUL TEA-BAZAAR Mrs.Fraser Muldrew received at the Christmas tea- bazaar of the United Church Women on Saturday in the Town Hall. The bazaar counter, piled high with plain and fancy handwork, was attended by Mrs. F. Macadam, Mrs.O.Niemi, Mrs.R.Macadam and Mrs. J.Rattray. Mrs. N.Smith and Mrs.W.Clemens were in charge of the Touch-and-take booth and candy and baking were sold by Mrs.A.Gordon and Mrs.G. Riley, while Mrs. H.Gellert, Mrs.O.Laine and Mrs. V.Weaver presided over the fishpond. The tea tables were served by Mrs.Bruce Simon and the Misses Muriel Nesbitt, Mary Ellen Gerow, Sandra Clemens, Brenda Lidkea, Joan O'Neil, Bea McBride, Daryl Lynn Weaver, Charlotte Ross and Mrs. John Spillane. Council were also concerned about the chlorination plant and will urge that the instructor from Winnipeg come as soon as possible to overhaul the plant and instruct town employee on its operation. PLANS DEC .gRD TEA AND BAZAAR The Catholic Women's League at their regular meeting set a Dec. 3 date for their Christmas bazaar and tea from 2:30-5 p.m. It was decided that in future no kitchen equipment will be rented. Mrs. Roly Martin and Mrs. Sanford Chicoine agreed to convene a wedding breakfast Nov. 28. Mrs. R. B. Spadoni will con- vene the father and son ban- quet Nov. 25. Estelle Chicoine was welcomed as a few member, Mrs. Agnes Sinkins agreed to convene the New Officers' Tea of Ruby Rebekah Lodge on November 8th, at their regular meeting on November 11th.
