Elizabeth (Bunny) was instructed at the Winnipeg Olympic Club by Mrs.Desira S.MacDonald for the past nine weeks. She was accompanied by her Mother, Mrs.Benny Hayes and her sister Linda spent the month of July with them, also studying under Mrs. MacDonald. Mr.and Mrs .Mitchell Hanna of Fort William, with sons Garth and Richard were weekend visitors with the Francis Hannas. Dot and Paul Coupal with children Mary Clare, Paulette, Diane and Ted motored east on their vaca- tion, visiting Dot's parents, Mr.and Mrs .Edgar Clark in Sturgeon Falls, a sister and family in Callander and in Kitchener and Waterloo with members of Paul's family . Mr .and Mrs .Doug Ring from Red Rock with their family visited with Mr.and Mrs.John Delaronde en- route to the Soo this week. Mrs. A.Almos entertained on the occasion of her daughter, Delena's fourth birthday with a party to which Susan and Ann Helmink, Erin Bourke of Schrei- ber, Denise and Butch St.Jean of Schrei ber and Patty and Dawn Leslie Teese and their mothers were invited. After party lunch and birthday cake were served to the youngsters the mothers enjoyed tea and relaxation. Miss Margaret Locking of Kenora has been the guest of Mr.and Mrs. C.T.Buck. CENTENNIAL PROJECT (Continued from Page 10) The first phase will be ready for opening July 1 ,1967. The concept of Ontario's cenfennial project and the site have been discussed with Metro Chairman Wm. Allan and have been endorsed by him, Mr .Robarts said. The executive of the Metropolitan Conserva- tion Authority have also endorsed both concept and site in principle, he added. The announcement is th e culmination of studies which have been conducted by the Ontario Govern= ment since September, 1963. The selection of a site has been particularly difficult, as can be seen from the scope of the project. Construction of the Centennial phase will start in July, 1965 and completed Sept.1966, so that the 'centre can be open July 1, 1967. Sympathy is extended to Ned West who flew east on Friday after learning of the sudden passing of his Mother, Mrs. Patrick West in Milton, Nova Scotia on Thursday . Fred Erickson and Bill Stachiw were invited to attend the Maple Leaf Hockey School this week in Three Rivers, Queb ec for the Maple Leaf Junior 'A' team.
