Peter Gombola, returned from his initial three monthsin Greenville,South Carolina, to accompany his wife Regi, and children Michael, Paul and Penny to their new home, His eldest daughter Darlene had joined him a month ago. Always civic minded, both Regi and Peter have served in many capacities, of the town's affairs. Peter had been Chairman of the § Building Committee for St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church and also served as chairman of the Separate School Board when it started. He was later appointed trustee and then chairman of the Highschool Board. On the executive of the Boy Scout Group Committee } Peter had served as Treasurer, and membership in many organizations of the town. Regi, at present Vice President of the Catholic | Women's League, had also been on the executive of the Girl Guide Association since } it's beginning. Classmates of Penny's in Mrs.0'Grady's grade two room gave her many individual gifts at their party as school closed. Paul Gombola was also entertained when Miehael Sernesky had a barbecue for him, with his friends giving him a wallet. Darlene, who returns to Queen's this Fall was presented with a gift from the Staff of Hotel Terrace and entertained at a party at the home of Gertrude Demecha, receiving a sterling maple leaf. Spending a few days last week in the Lake- head, their families joined in a huge farewell Thursday evening at the home of Steve Gombola in Fort William, making it a memorable parting Best wishes go with the Gombola family from: their family and friends of Terrace Bay and district. PRESENTATION MADE TO MOOSE LADIES An executive meeting was held Wednesday, July 8, previous to the regular meeting of the Women of the Moose in the Moose Hall, with business being discussed for the coming year. Senior Regent Ann Didura opened the meeting dence and minutes of the last meeting. Mrs.Elsie Osmar of Chapter 1212, Port Arth- ur was a guest of the Chapter for the meeting. A beautifully framed list of the officers of 'tthe Chapter which had been made and presented by Lorne O'Neil, was accepted with gratitude and hung im a place of honor. At the close of the meeting a game was Played with Marjory Dejonghe and Clare Gould
