With coaches still required, the big news this week is that the Terrace Bay Kiwanis Club has offered to provide leaders for the Little League (10 to 12 years). This means that at least four teams will have the coaching that they require for the season. In addition, Kiwanis has already supplied regular uniforms for the Little League All- Star Team, which will represent Terrace Bay against outside teams during July and August. Without the assistance of the Kiwanis Club, it may have been necessary to curtail some of the baseball program this year. COACHES AND UMPIRES ARE STILL REQUIRED EOR OTHER TEAMS AND LEAGUES. For the time being, we will attempt to operate these leagues with the few coaches who have volunteered to assist, but it is impossible to give the boys the full attention they require unless we obtain more help. If you can assist, please contact us now. (Cont'd on Page 12) ar MAY 24TH- HOURS 5PM. TOO Pit GIVE YOUR FAMILY A TREAT PHONE 760 or 761
