LOCAL FIGURE SKATERS PASS TESTS Results from the past winter's figure skating showed an ever-growing increase in tests passed by members of the local Figure Skating Club. Passing Prelimin- ary Tests were Cathy West, Patricia Kelty, Jacque- line Turner, Mary Pat McLeod, Gail Simmer and Jean Belliveau. First Tests were successfully completed by Laura Hartman, Jane Persson, Heather Boyd and Brook Rapke and Second Tests by Shirley Phillips, Jamie Cumming and Colleen Kenney. Passing her Sixth Figure and Free Skating Test at the Pt. Arthur Figure Skating Club was Elizabeth Hayes under the guidance of Pros. Barbara Hutcheon and Patricia Toppit. In addition to the above group a grand total of thirty eight dance tests were passed during the season by members of the Club, and hearty congratu~ lations are offered to all.
