The meeting was chaired by Jack Thomas who called on all the members of the committee to give a report on the past, present and future eé6lf activities. A detailed and comprehensive financial re- port was given by Al Pattison. Thor Olson outlined the future developments for 1964. He remarked that there is no reason why the work this year couldn't be completed in six weeks. This work entails clearing edges of fairways and some burning. Jack Phillips gave a pictorial review of the progress of the golf course. Maps were projected on a screen showing how much work was done each year and the fairways completed. Dave Desrosier reported on the present mem- bership and looks forward to at least 150 mem- bers this year. Jack Thomas gave a talk on the golf course and answered questions from the floor. He mentioned that there would be an election in about three weeks for a new slate of officers. Only members will be eligible to vote or stand for office. For this reason memberships are urged now so that a good representative number will be able to participate in the election. Since a good membership is expected from Schreiber it is hoped that they will not hesi- tate to express their opinions in the club's activities and progress. As mentioned quite often the golf course in Terrace Bay is being built for the district. A large membership means more and better facilities (Cont'd P.5 save money the second time. REMEMBER!
