The crowning of a Queen and two Princesses, o have been elected at the schools during this week, will take place at the Karnival. This year's Karnival will again feature a costume parade, with prizes to be awarded in the following categories:- Best Tramp; Best Fancy and Most Original. To better equalize competition, races will be run in single age categories only. That is, boys or girls who are seven years old will skate in the race for boys or girls at seven years of age only, and so on up to 14 year olds There will be both forward and backward races. 1 11.00 A.M. A big event will be the "Walkathon" open to all teenagers - from the overhead east of Schreiber to the Arena. There will be three prizes in this event and contestants will be picked up at the Arena at 1:00 P.M. on Satur- day, March 14th and taken out to the bridge. Kiwanis is out to provide a "fun" after- noon for the youngsters so, boys and girls, gather at the Arena at 12:30 on Saturday and have some fun, NURSES ASSOCIATION MEETS On Thursday evening in St.Martin's Parish Hall, a meeting was held by the Nurses Assoc-~ | jation of Schreiber and Terrace Bay under the chairmanship of M.Hale. An excellent demon- stration of a Pneolater MSA was given by John Mikus which was well received by the Nurses in attendance. A very brief discussion took place on the R.N.A.O. and the possibility of a better and more improved organization. Mrs.Vivian Rapke was nominated for President of the Associa- tion for the 1964-65 term. The next meeting will take place on May 5. A vote of thanks was tendered to John Mikus for the presentation and to Rev. Dean Gallagh- er for the use of the Parish Hall. The meeting was adjourned with refreshments being served. FITNESS CLASSES EVERY THURSDAY .....- 4.30 --- 6.00 for men 8 - - 9,30 for ladies.
