Nov. 16th. The Figure Skating season has now commenced with sessions Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Please note that the Saturday morning session from 7 to 10 includes one hour of patch only from 7 o'clock and it is not expected that all skaters will turn out this early. Membership Fees will be the same as previous seasons.with special rates where more than one in a family participates. Lockers will be allotted on a "share basis only, at 50¢ each, two to a locker. Crests will be given out to all new when they register. Fees for the first half are now due and payable on registration, to Marge Hayes, at the Recreation Centre, from 9 to 12 Saturday morning. A-Guiders meeting will be held on Monday, November 18th, at 8:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. R. Downey. Duncan, M. Hall, J. Heenan, R. Legault and B. Young. The Valedictory Address composed by Jane Heenan was read by Don Colborne, President of the Students* Council, in her absence, who also accepted on her behalf a school pin from Mr. Hartman. Don further brought greetings from the 1963-64 Students* Council before the program closed with the Queen, accompanied at the piano by Velma LeBlanc. A tea for parents, guests and students was held at the conclusion of the evening. The lace covered teatable was gracefully arranged with a centrepiece of white mums and carnations sprayed with green, and green and white tapers in crystal candlelabra. Seated at the tea services were Mrs. A.E. Hartman a Mrs. A. Chisholm, The Ladies Auxiliary of the Community Church catered to the tea. ART CLUB NEWS A free Art Film will be shown at 3:00 P.M. AND again at 7:30 P.M. during the Art Show, Nov. 16th. Refreshments will be served afternoo and evening and the draw for the winner of the Oil Painting will take place at 9:00 P.M. Prior to the draw there will be a demonstra=- tion of Pastel Portraiture. During the afternoon there will bé.a pottery demonstration. (Continued on Page 13)
