as v (i eS h SS Vol .6, No.35 & ? Saring the District ; August 29, 1963 LABOR DAY MESSAGE MILL MANAGER'S LABOUR DAY SAFETY MESSAGE Labour Day will soon be here. As a day dedicated to all who labour in any way, it was established to honour the dignity of work and the contribution of work to human progress . No man can contribute to human progress and not benefit directly as an individual. This is so even though the benefit may be only the simple satisfaction of a job well done. Often the contribution of many individuals toward achievement of a common goal benefits everyone in an entire work force. We have living proof of this right now in our current safety achieve- ranad) The individual efforts of everyone on the Kimberly-Clark payroll here are about to ochleas something never accomplished before in almost 15 years of mill operation, by Friday of this - week, a record of 300 consecutive safe days will break all of the safe day records previously established at Terrace Bay. | trust that the stimulating experience of this accomplishment will renew our determination to achieve even greater goals. Let's work the balance of '63 accident-free and then go on to ~ continue this fine record through 1964. By so doing we will gradually raise the standards which Labour Day was established to honour.
