(Bus) Hill, Brian and Brad of Ottawa, are the guests of Mr.& Mrs.Innes West. Mrs .Gordon Vaillancourt and daughter Susanne of Sidbury, are visiting Mr.& Mrs.Frank McKenna. | BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED Miss Lorraine Welbourne, R.N., who has been on the staff of the WAWA hospital was honored by her friends at a pre-nuptial tea arranged in Mrs.Harry Shack's home on Wednesday evening. The tea was poured by Mesdames Albert Gauthier and Albert Smith, Arthur Lemieux and Milton Winters--the latter cousin and aunt of the bride-elect. Servitors were Miss Lorraine Nesbitt and Mesdames Eddie Nesbitt, Alex Gordon and Burton Phillips, with Mesdames G .Cataford, G.Krause, G.Cebrario, W .Kirkpatrick, Don and Brian Stewart replenishing. Mrs .Scott Sr., of Hamilton, Scotland, who is visit- ing her son, promptly discovered:that she and the Thomases had many mutual friends in Scotland---had lived in the same area and yet met for the first time in Northern Ontario. Letters are already on the way to Scotland, des- cribing the happy chance meeting and arranging one for Mrs. Scott on her return home.
