Mr.& Mrs. uacan MacFart ane and sons Dean and Jimmy of New Liskeard, spent a few days visiting Mrs..McFarlane's sister and brother-in-law, Mr.& Mrs. F .Tuomi while enroute from the West Coast. Mr.& Mrs. John Branchaud and family are spending their vacation in various points in Quebec with rela- tives. Mr.& Mrs. Doug Murray and family of Winnipeg and Mr.& Mrs. Avery Duncan and daughter of Fort William are visiting with the George Duncans. Among those from Schreiber in Terrace Bay Hospital are Mrs.S.Kuzcma, Mrs.W.1T.Wallace, Leo Potvin, Mrs.W.McKenzie, Mrs.A.McCoteman, Mrs .R.Winters Mrs.T.Glad and Pat Newton. Mr.& Mrs.L.Phemister and their family of Peace River, Alta. are visiting with Mr.& Mrs. H. Gellert enroute East for a holiday. Johnny Soulier, ten-year-old son of Mr.& Mrs.Don Souliere, was one of the seven excited kiddies who left by plane from the lakehead recently for the Crippled Children's Camp at Collingwood, Ontario. This holiday is provided by the sale of Easter Seals and the boys were selected from the Lakehead and District. Mr.& Mrs.Russell C.Macadam entertained at a reception on July 7th in the home of Mr.& Mrs. Forbes Macadam in honour of Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Dejeet (nee Sharon Macadam) who marriage took place on June 29th in Port Arthur. The bride wore her wedding gown and her mother chose a pink lace sheath. Tea was poured by Mesdames Forbes Macadam, grandmother of the bride and Mrs. Alec Gordon. Servitors were the Misses Bonnie Gordon and Patsy Huminicki and Mesdames Wm. (Continued) STEWART-COTE NUPTIALS Gladioli in pale yellow and orchid adorned Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church for the wedding on July 6th of Carol Ann (Sally), only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Stewart of Schreiber and Paul Raymond Cote, son of Mrs.Dorothy Cote of Geraldton. Father J.M.Cano officiated. Raymond Guillet was soloist and Miss Anna Fum- merton the organist. Ushers were C. Ewart, N. Nesbitt and R.Potvin. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in French taffeta covered with silk chiffon, the pointed basque bodice, with long sleeves and rounded neckline, outlined with lace flower appli- ques. The flower appliques were also used to edge her mantilla veil of silk illusion and she carried a semi-cascade of yellow gladiolii spiced with lily- of-the-valley. The bride had four attendants--Miss Carol Lalonde and Miss Bee McBride, bridesmaids, Kathy Caldwell and Christopher Stewart, her cousins, as flower girl and ring bearer. The senior attendants wore similar gowns of printed silk in beige and yellow tones with nylon overdress. Their headdresses were yellow mohair circlets with wimple veils and they carried bamboo baskets of white shasta mums with yellow centres. The flower girl's frock was white eyelet embroidery with square neckline, short puff sleeves and a brief full skirt. She carried a basket of white shastas. Leon Cote, brother of the groom, was the Best Man. Following the ceremony the wedding breakfast was given in the home of the Bride's brother, Brian Stewart, on Park Street. During the afternoon a reception was held in the - home of the bride's parents when Mrs. Stewart re- ceived in a navy sheath with hat and accessories in pink and a corsage of sheetheart roses. The groom's mother chose a pale blue ensemble with hat and accessories in white, her corsage of white feathered carnations. Mrs.J.Corbett was dining room hostess and tea was poured by Mesdames F.Vescio, L.R.McCuaig, Wm. Shaw, Wm.Randa and Geo.McBride with the Misses Marilyn Pearson, Doris McParland, Lorraine Nesbitt, Heather Graham and Susan Caldwell and Mrs.Neil Nesbitt as servitors.
