Minutes of the May 2 Council meeting were read by the Secretary J. Kelty, The President read a letter received from Coustable H, Billings outlining the result of his investigation into cost and features of a burglar alarm system for local merchants, This matter was turned over to J, Adamo for further investigation with the understanding that he will report back to Council, A report on the current status of the Ague- sabon Gorge prepared by Norm Kelly was review- ed and filed. - Question' presented by members of the Chamber of Commerce, concerning the annual spring clean up, were generally discussed and Mr, Paget agreed to contact the Township Council offering to make a tour of the community and submit a report on the need for a general clean up if indicated, Should the Township Council agree to this suggestion, it was felt that the cmphasis should be on property adja- cent to the highway and the business district. Mr, Kelty volunteered to head up this project if and when clearance is received.
