Mr. Nevill is a brother of Mrs. Richardson. St. Andrews United Church Womeng Assoc. met on Wed. afternoon for their regular meet- ing. Mrs. G. Gordon led in the devotional period, the theme being "Whom do we Serve", Mrs. 0. Niemi, President presided over the Two new routine business and reports. projects were accepted for the coming months, Mrs. H. McBride was named representative to the Congregational Supper Committee. Rev. Crook was present to discuss. the plans for the new Womeng Organization being formed in Jan. 1962. Mrs. R. Macadam and Mrs. T. Whent were appointed to the Provisional Committee. It was agreed to again hold the Annual Thanksgiving day Turkey Supper on Mon. Oct. 9 in the Town Hall. Mrs. H. McBride will be convenor with the comnittee comprising Mesdames A, Laine, \ N. Smith, J. AAMAADSS, eats of the Schreiber Public School. | FUNERAL SERVICE FOR LATE ALLAN McLEOQD HELD Funeral Service for the late Allan McLeod 64, resident of the Railway Y.M.C.A. in Schreiber, whose death occurred on Sunday, Sept. 3, was held in St. Andrews United Church Sept. 5, with Rev. R.A. Crook officiating. Pallbearers were R.F. Miller, T.P. Whent, W.H. Murphy, G.H, G.H. Birch, D.W. Rosie and J.E, Gagnon. i.e Set | Interment was in Schreiber Cemetery. Mr. McLeod was born at Moose Factory and at an early age came with his parents to Rossport, later moving to Jack- fish where he resided for some time. After joining the employ of the C.P.R, he moved to Schreiber. He was a locomotive engineer, He took an early retirement due to ill health. Mr. McLeod was predeceased by his wife in 1954 and is survived by four step children and many nieces and nephews in Schreiber and district. Attending from out of town were Mr, & Mrs. A.
