Members, through volunteer labour, have the footings poured and a four-foot wall of concrete poured on the footings ready for construction of the cement block walls. The contractor for the cement block walls, it is hoped, will be finished by the end of August and then the 'structural steel for the roof is to go up as soon as the steel is delivered, After the walls are up there will be lots of work to do laying pipe and backfilling inside the build- ing. _ Volunteer work crews are responding fairly well but scheduling of same is a problem for -everyone. A schedule for tho five crews has been drawn up for four weeks, Each crew is 'scheduled to work one night each week and one Saturday. The Pipe crew is not scheduled as they will proceed with the pipe work more or less independently. It is hoped. that when the crews know they are scheduled for approx- 'imately the same night each week they will be ews in full force, This will give ali members 'plenty of notice and crew leaders will not have to call the crew members. The schedule for crews is listed below, This schedule, plus the list of crews, will be given to the crew leaders and will be posted. If a crew member misses his crew night it is hoped he | will show up another night. Help is required any time so members are welcome as many nights as they have available. For special projects 'it may be necessary to double up the crews, There are three Building Committee Co- Chairmen on the project, It is planned that one of these men will be available for some time each evening so that crew leaders will TERRACE BAY NEWS OOQMO'S LTO THURSDAY, AUG,31ST IS LAST DAY FREE GF SALES T/.:, CHECK YOUR SUPPLIES OF SOAP, WAX, DOG FOOD SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BIC, AND SAVS 2%, SPECIALS FOR AUG, 31-SE 's/ aa (Rae EE ARE REA CRRE NR SE "es gi it.rolls - /, J 5¢ | 12 oz. tins LIBBY?S FRUIT COCKTAIL 3/9 090 eR Ae RE EE ES EE RE CS EN RINE CIE OEE EF RN NOR HS UN August 31, 1961 ad «! ed GIANT SIZETIDE . . 12¢ off deal - KLEEN EX = Coloured 400's 3 packages, ot ASPARAGUS OUTTINGS - Choice 7 o¢ 2/53¢ 2at| eRe a Le RRO ERIE ot eA NRO AEN TRAE 15 oz. tins OCEAN SPRAZ CRANBERRY SAUCE 15 oz. tins TURKEYS -- Grade °A?
