Present were Mrs, W, Niemi - president, Mrs. H, Josus- Sec. Treas. and members Mrs, F, Eickmeier, Mrs, D, Winters, Mrs. D. Kirby, Miss E, Ballard and special guest Mrs. S. Willoughby. After the opening prayer members took part in the reading of Bible verses and discussions, Mrs. Willoughby closed the devotions with prayer. It was agreed to hold the sale in Bill Campbell's Radio and TV Centre on Sat. May 13th at 2.30 P.M, Various articles were then displayed for the for'!th- coming Fall Bazaar. Sandra and Carolyn represented the nurses in training of Hamilton General Hospital. Forty students of Marathon High School accompanied by staff member, Mr. Riddell made a tour of the Hydro Power Plant, in Terrace Bay. The Annual Membership Tea by the Catholic 'Women!s League was held Sunday evening in St. Martin's Parish Hall. Before the social hour a short business meeting was held, opened by prayers by Very Rev. Dean E.A. Gallagher and with Mrs. F. A Helmink presiding, : Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by Mrs, R, Lindberg and Miss C, Adamo read all correspondence.
