Deliv- ST.JOHN'S EVENING GROUP HOLD ANNUAL PARTY The evening group of St.John's Anglican Church held their annual Christmas Supper and Party last Tuesday evening, Following the supper a general business meeting was held. Yearly business was concluded and re- ports given by the various committees. Mrs. J.D.Bryson presided for election of offi- cers, all of whom were returned by acclama- tion.,as follows:- President, Mrs. C.Sparks - Vice-Pres,, Mrs.G, Birch, Secretary, Mrs.A. Slater - Treasurer, Mrs, R,Inshaw - Tea Convenor, Mrs. Susan Spicer, All other committees will remain as last year, Plans were made for a card party and social for all women of the Church, This is to be held on January 30th and admission will be material or thread to be used by the sewing group. These present enjoyed a game of cards and first prize went. to Mrs.Sparks, second to Mrs. Grey and consolation to Mrs.Rigglesford, Gift exchange was conducted by Mrs,Spicer amd tea amd light refreshments concluded a very enjoyable evening.
