November 10, 1960 has been in operation for a year. The finan- cial statement appended hereto shows the results of the year's operation' in dollars and cents, It does not however, show the results in 'help to others!, Sincere thank-you letters from the various Charities indicate that our money is being put to good use. It is being used to help . those less fortunate than ourselves - retar- ded children, the mentally ill, the blind, the crippled and the hungry; it is being used for research and rehabilitation - Cancer, Heart, Arthritis, Rheumatism, Muscular Dystrophy; it is being used through the Red Cross for the blood donor service, water safety, international and local disaster relief (Foliet, Ont., floods, Chilean earth- quakes); and it is being used through Care of Canada, UNICEF, and the World Refugee Year Committee to assist the unfortunate in other lands. These are but a few of the areas in which we render assistance by our donations, If you are a member of the Kimberly-Clark Employees! Charity Fund you should feel gratified. Your donation is helping to make the world a better place in which to live, If you wish to increase your contribution, please contact one of the canvassers.
