A special meeting of the St.John Ambulance Brigade was held in Schreiber over the week~ end in the United Church Hall with area Officers Mr.f'red Farwell, Miss Gertrude Mitchell and Mr.alex Potter representing the Lakehead, ight other Vivisional Offi-~ cers and Ambulance Privates also attended. Mrs. H. Jartus, Division Superintendent of Schreiber welcomed the officers and guests, then invited Miss Mitchell, srea Superintendent of Nursing for Northwestern Ontario, to chair the meeting, She brought greetings from the Lakehead, Mr,Farwell also spoke briefly. The purpose of the meeting was to change TERRACE BaY NEWS Page 13 the name of the division, as the Schreiber Nursing Division is being dissolved and a new combined #ivision of both Nursing and Ambulance members was to be formed, "Superio Wivision" was the name chosen by @ unanimous vote. On Sunday morning the annual church parade took place at both the St.andrews United Church and Holy Angels Roman Catholic Ghurch. The Colour party was in charge of vivision Superintendent James Main of Port arthur and the Colours were carried by Wallace Cringle and Hino Trudeau, For anyone who was unable to register for the Senior First Aid Class in Schreiber at the High School and is still desirous of doing so, registretions will still be accepted at {the second lecture to be held on October 24th at 8 P.M, VON'T FORGET TO MAKE PLANS TO ATTEN THE BIG.
