Plans for the Corpus Christi Parade to be held Sunday, June 19th, were discussed, Mrs, F, Helmink reported on the Diocesan Convention at Sioux Lookout, Mrs. J. Ruzyski read an article on parent-child relationship taken from a social conference held in Sudbury in 1959, This talk was followed by a stinulating discussion in'which three groups of ladies participated. Lunch was served by Mrs, P. Boudreau and her committee, A surprise Stork Shower was held Friday evening for Mrs, Jeannine Desrosiers at her home by hostesses Jean Whalen, Hazel Lang, Jackie Calder and Bernice Pytyck, Jeannine received a cute corsage of infant items and many lovely gifts from her friends, The ladies played bingo and various other games before enjoying a delicious luncheon, ART COURSE = Cont'd from Pg.12 The last course will be held at the Lakehead July.12.-.15, A General Art Course will be held June 30 - July 4 for persons who have had prev- ious art training. Phillip Mr. & Mrs, G, Killins, Mr. & Mrs, F, Hanna, Mr. & Mrs. P. Syvitsky and Mr. & Mrs. J, Kennedy. Prizes were presented to the winning teams in the various leagues as well as individual winners. Special awards included the Mrs. Cola Parker Trophy by Joe Kennedy to Dorothy Coupal for the Ladies Hi Average in all leagues; this totalled eight presentations to Dorothy. Mrs».
