The Bottling Works, which will distribute Pepsi Cola products, occupies the premises formerly used as a theatre, Up to date machinery and spacious quarters assure a continued flow of these famous thirst quenchers, The phone (just installed) is TA 5-3515, COMETS AGAIN SPLIT DOUBLE HEADER Nine hits on Kolody and 7 hits on McLay gave the Comets a 4-3 win in the first game of the double header against the Albiens Sunday afternoon, The Westfort Albions came back in the second game to whip the Comets 5-1 giving R, Okada a three hit game against Wilkinson's seven hit game, Polehill up for the first time in the first game batted home T. Costa for the tie breaking run at the end of the 9th inning, both teams were tied three all at the 4th inning, Hitters for the Comets were A,Costa, Taylor, Hansen, Kolody (2), T. Costa and Pytyck. Kolody had good support from the field throughout the game with only two errors by Hansen and Costa. Marvin Osmar was not in the game as he was serving a two game suspension imposed during the previous week's game at the Lake- head. Kolody will serve his suspension Thurs day. Jack Thomas now has two evictions - umpire Whalen putting him off the bench for arguing, The second game was close till the sixth when errors were the big factor in disrup- ting the team, Wilkinson gathered three errors--Costa and Taylor one each--Polehill hitting Hansen home for the only run, The Albions played this game under protest due to controversy on umpire calls, ..
