The guest speaker for the evening was a Past Grand Knight of St. Edward's Council, now a member of Fort William Council, Mr, E, A, Marostica. He directed his remarks primarily at,,the new members, emphasizing in particular the four precepts ofthe Order - Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. He also.urged everyone in attendance-to take the message of Fatima to heart, A.J, Cadieux, Sr., was chairman of the Initiation Day Committee which made.all arrangements for the day. He was also Toastmaster at the banquet and during the course of the-evening, on behalf of St. Edward's Council,.presented to former District Deputy E.J, Elvish a plaque congrat- ulating Fort William Council on their 50th anniversary. The Group wish to thank all who donated to and attended the function which made it the success it was. od ' | RUBY REBEKAH LODGE EXEMPLIFY INITIATION | Sixty-five members attended the regular meeting of Ruby Rebekah Lodge which was held |! on Wednesday with the N.G, Mrs. M,. Legault | and V.G. Mrs. A. Morris presiding. Mrs. A. Priestly D.D.P. was introduced | by Mrs. M,. Slater P.N.G. and welcomed by the members. The Sick & Visiting report was given by Mrs. Morris. Mrs. F, Grover reported for the C.P.T. Committee stating that a family had béeén aided by the Committee. . Treasurer's, report was given by Mrs. B. Whent and Minutes and Correspondence were read by Rec, Sec. Mrs. A, Laine, Letters were received from Mesdames G, Davis, N. Ross, M. Husband and Miss P, Fadden and Financial Secretary Mrs. H, Wallace reported. The beautiful Rebekah degree was exemplified:on two candidates.
