P.M. the Girls! Basketball game got underway. The Terrace Bay girls grabbed an early léad but Nip/Rock girls settled down and took over in the second half. The final score was 34 - 12 for Nipigon, Outstanding players were Marlene Kowaliuk for Nip/Rock and Judy Thomas and Annette Boudreau for Terrace Bay. | At 8:00 P.M, the same evening the Nip/Rock team skated out to meet the local boys, The -- game was fast and clean from the beginning ' with Terrace Bay boys proving to be too much for Nip/Rock, The terrific back-checking and line rushes kept the spectators happy through- out the entire game, Ron Schock and DonFiedun played a fine ' offensive game for Terrace and Norman Vezina ' deserves credit for his constant back checking.
