CHILDREN DIE IN FIRE That headline has run in newspapers in hundreds of communities large and small throughout Canada almost every day of the year. 1960 was only a few hours old when we heard of a fire and five children lost their lives. Radio gave a grave account of the fire and T-V painted the grim pictures. Terrace Bay has one of the lowest fire losses in Ontario for our population. We have not had a major house fire-in the past eleven years nor have we had a loss of life from fire or a fireman hurt working at a fire during that time.
