The treasurer, Mrs.A.Fedun gave the financial statement and other convenors gave their various reports. Minutes of the Diocesan Council meeting held in Ft.William were read. Junior Regent Virginia Galvin chaired the meeting and various business was discuss- ed, A delicious lunch was served by the Library Committee. The next meéting will. be held on November 18th, Mrs,Bernice Williams is a patient in Pt. Arthur General Hospital and-is-wished a speedy recovery by her many friends here, Malcolm Spidell was a guest at the home of Peggy and Jack Wellings last week while enjoying a visit with his friends in Terrace Bay. Eight girl friends were invited to play games and -enjoy the party fare and receive baskets of favours, Mrs.Rosemary Sernesky held a party for son Michael on November lst in honour of his 7th birthday. -Ten young friends were present to enjoy a regular Hallowe'en party and games and left for home with Hallowe'en treats, Mrs. R.Brumm of East Templeton, Quebec, returns home this week having visited her daughter Bea Williams and family for three weeks, Fred McMillan and Barb were visitors of Mr.& Mrs, A.Ward in Ft.William last weekend, Sandra Fedorak celebrated her seventh birthday on Hallowe'en with a party for seven girl friends, A variety of games were played and party lunch enjoyed and the children de- parted with the usual favours, STORK SHOWER GIVEN MRS.MARION PLUTA A lovely stork shower was held at the home of Mrs. Joyce Rousseau Sunday evening for Mrs.Marion Pluta with the assistance of co- hostesses Mrs.Stella Gusul and Mrs,Barb. Payette, The guest of honour sat in a decor- ated chair to receive a lovely highchair and decorated basket of gifts from those attend- ing. The ladies played bingo and other games be- fore the hostesses served a delightful lunch. Mr.& Mrs.S,Lundberg and family have re= turned from Ft.,William where they attended the wedding of their neice Miss Janet Artist last Saturday to Mr.Frank Priestly.
