SMITH DIES SUDDENLY Sunday morning at his home came as a gret shock to his friends and co-workers in Terrace Bay. Aged sixty-two, Mr. Smith had been born in Manitoba, working for fourteen years as Labour Foreman with Carter Hall in Winnipeg prior to coming to Terrace Bay in 1946, where he again assumed the same position for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, A quiet man by nature, though fond of hunting and fishing, Mr, Smith had the respect of all who knew him, Mr, Smith was one of the pioneers of Terrace Bay having come to the district while the town and mill was still in the blueprint stage.
