JOHN AMBULANCE MEMBERS RECEIVE AWARDS The annual Inspection of the Schreiber A/N Division, St.John Ambulance was held on Satur day, October 25th in the basement of St. John's Anglican. Church in Schreiber. The Ranks were inspected by Dr.F.F.Ps Thompson, Area Commissioner for N.W. Ontario, and Miss Gertrude Mitchell, Area Supt. for Nursing, They were accompanied by Area Supt. Fred Farwell; Area Officer, Al.Potter and Miss Esther Mitchell, Both Dr, Thompson and Miss Mitchell addressed the members and afterwards Dr. Thompson presented awards to Brigade members for re-examinations taken during 1959, Two service bars were also presented, along with three Senior First Aid Certificates. Highlight of the awards was the presenta= tion of a Priory Vote of Thanks to Mrs.Jack Graham, Reg.N.. This Scroll is signed by the Hon. Vincent: Massey, former Governor General of Canada and Prior of the Order. It is a special 'thanks! given in recognition of duty done in furthering the work of St,John. Following the inspection, members put on a display of stretcher work, Many phases of brigade work were discussed during the execu- tive meeting during the afternoon, and also at the round table discussion following the inspection, Lunch was served by Brigade members, The. annual Church Parade took place at 11 A.M, Sunday morning to St.John's Anglican Church with the Inspection Party and Brigade members taking part, Standard bearers were Mr.Eino Trudeau and Constable Wallace Cringle.
