Ernie, as President of the Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Association, was interested in seeing how a boy from the Terrace Bay Minor hockey ranks would make out in such a try-out, The experience gained will give the local Association valuable information in regard to the experience, coaching and age that will be a criterion for boys to make Junior A competition. Another important result of the trip. is that Ernie was asked by Harold Cotten, Chief Scout, Boston Bruins, to act as a scout for the Bruin organization along the North Shore.
