SHOWER FOR MISS MARY FIGLIOMENIT Mrs.Rita Speziale will be hostess in her home on Thursday, July 2nd from 8-10 P.M, when Miss Mary Figliomeni will be guest of honour at a miscellaneous shower, Ruby Lodge No.27 met on June 24th with Mrs.W,.Clemens, N.G. and Mrs.M, Legault, V.G, presiding. Mrs.Clemens reported on the joint Oddfellow and Rebekah party and Mrs. I. Grover gave the annual financial report of the C.P,T, Committee, Mrs,A.Laine, re- cording secretary, read the minutes and first nominations for new officers was held, Mrs.Smith and Mrs.Mavis Slater will attend the district meeting on Tuesday, June 30th. 'Last Sunday the congregation of St.Andrews United Church turned out in force to take part in their Annual Picnic. A start was made at Superior Park but cool weather plus black flies made the merry makers move to Sand Lake where, they report, it was a lovely day (no flies),.
