Leagues have been operating successfully for several weeks now, but it has become increasingly difficult to operate with the few volunteer coaches we have. The boys are showing greater enthusiasm for the game than ever before, but with 4 teams scheduled for action each day of the week, we need more volunteer aid. Below is a list of the help we require: Umpires: For games on Mondays, Wednesdays &. Fridays at 4,30. Coaches: For 2 teams in the American League, playing twice a week at 4.30. - For the Bantams, practicing Thursday at 4.30 and Saturday at 9.00 A.M, - For the Midgets, practicing Tuesday at 4.30 and Saturday at 10.30 A.M. All we need is a few people willing to spend 2 days a week to give these boys the instruction they require, If you'd like to help them, call the Recreation Office NOW... Those who have been helping us operate so well to date are: - Chas.Koski & Cleon Smith in the Inter- national League. - Don Farrow,Gary Newell & Doug Moore in the American League . ~ David Wheeler,Ron Schock,Jim Crawford, Richard Jeanneret & George wMagka a jn the e xt co TERRACE BAY NEWS "RECREATION FLYER - Cont'd.
