This | award is made to the pupil having an academ- | ic standing of not lower than seventy-five percent and a good attitude towards the school, the teachers, and fellow students, The basis of making. the award is deter- mined by a vote by ballot by the pupils of Grades seven and eight and by the teachers who have direct contact with the pupils, A point system is used in the tabulation of the vote. CHEST FILM SURVEY THIS SUMMER A chest film survey will be made in the East Thunder Bay District this summer. The Mobile Chest X-Ray will be used. The reason for the survey this year is because of 'the high incidence of tuberculo- sis within certain communities in East Thunder Bay District. A one hundred percent coverage of the District will be the aim of the survey.
