Pickup games and open hockey sessions kept the boys active throughout the vacation period, since scheduled games and practices had finished a week earlier. 1959 marked another successful season for the Association, with about 60 more boys active than in the previous year. It appears that there will be between 60 and 75 more for next year. All told, 152 boys played hockey under the Minor Hockey Association this year, over 100 of them in the Flyweight and Peewee classes. Fifteen local men contributed coaching time, and six others helped as referees. In addi- tion, the men serving on the executive and the ladies on the Auxiliary gave invaluable aid to ensure a successful season. 1957 DODGE STATION WAGON 12,000 miles *1975,CO 1957 CHEV BEL AIR 4-Door Hard Top oe 1954 OLDSMOBILE 1953 FORD see THUR te ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A GOOD USED CAR? Bruins emerged winners over Canadiens in | the Peewee division, after one of the tough- , est series in years. They won the final game 1-0 in sudden death playoff. It was quite a victory for the Bruins who had fin- a ished last behind Canadiens, Black Hawks and Leafs in the regular schedule, The Peewee All-Stars, Bantams and Midgets . played a No.Shore schedule against Schreiber and Marathon on their divisions with the i Peewees emerging winners of the No,Shore and Spadoni Trophy for the second straight year.
