Weather and condi- tion of the field will decide the definite starting time. Because interest in Minor Baseball seems to waver half way through the summer it has been very difficult to run leagues through- out the holidays. Vacations, etc., keep the boys from getting out to games and many cancellations have resulted, in the past, This year we hope to give the boys plenty of baseball, but also leave them free time during the holidays. During the months of May and June, league games for teams in all age groups will be run after school, from 4-6 p.m. Schedules will be completed by the end of June. Play- offs will take place over the first two weeks in July, leag champions in all groups being declared by July 15th. This will end regular league games. For the bal- ance of the summer games will be arranged against out-of-town competition, for all- star teams in each age group. This will allow the boys who want to continue through- out the summer to keep playing. Following _ plan, both those who have a keen inter- st in ball and those who usually lose oe by the end of July will have plenty of opportw nity to satisfy their desires to. play.
