Miss}|' G.Mitchell, Area Supt., of Nursing and Mri Fred Farwell, Area Officer, were special guests for the occasion, Morning and afternoon sessions were held in the home of Mrs. H.Jartus local chairman, For record purposes the Schreiber Nursing Division was closed out then re-opened to establish it as The Schreiber Ambulance Nurs- ing Division. This necessitated the resigne+. tion of all officers and members of the nurs- ing division and re-installation and enrolment into the new division, It was also decided to establish an advisory auxiliary committee to act with the executive for purposes of public relations etc., At 7:30 P.M, the men of the Brigade met Mr.Farwell for a discussion in the St.John'S Anglican Church Hall and they chose as their representative for the executive, Constable Wallace Cringle who will hold the status of Acting Corporal in the Association, Mrs.H.Jartus chaired the general meeting and welcomed the members and district offi- cers and guests who were present, Mr.Farwell spoke briefly and presented the senior First-Aid certificates to the follow- ing graduates: Mrs.J.Plummer, R.N., Mrs. V. Rapke, k.N., Mr. Eino Trudeau, Mrs. H.Relph, Robt. Krause and Const, W.Cringle. The latter four enrolled in the new division. Miss Mitchell spoke and gave a report on the executive meeting and brought in the new slate of officers. This slate is the same as the. Nursing Division officers. She also gave a brief but interesting talk on the Order going back 950 years and bringing aac up to the present. As part of the installation service the St.John's prayer was repeated.:. Mrs, Jartus thanked the officers, both District and Divisional and reviewed the work of the Nursing Division briefly. During the past three years the Division has put in 2590 hours of voluntary duty.
