MEETING The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxi- liary will be held Monday, December Ist at 8.15 P.M, in the Community Church, Every- one is requested to bring a child's gift up to a Dollar value in place of the usual Xma: gift exchange. Mrs.Evans-Smith and her committee will be. in charge of the Christma: programme, Everyone is welcome} all boys playing for the Minor Hockey League by the Ladies Auxiliary. BOY SCOUT NEWS A second Troop has been formed recently in Terrace Bay to alleviate the crowding in the First Troop. Under Scout Master Sam Ballantyne with assistants Bryan Peterkin and Grant Kelly the first meeting of this Troop was held Fri- day evening, Nov.14th with 21 scouts attending,. Mr. Ed,Pineault has been named Akela of the Mowgli Cub Pack replacing Mr. Roland Wills who was forced to resign owing to ill health. 'Mr. and Mrs.John Knight, Mr. and Mrs, E, Rowson and son, Mr. and Mrs.H.Roberts and son travelled to Kapuskasing for the weeken of November 7th to 9th to attend the Kimber] Clark Quarter Century Banquet and Club Party At the banquet Friday evening, Mr. E.C,Dani« On November 13th another 'Going-Up Ceremony! was held with Mr.,Dave Amos, Akela of the Terrace Bay Akela Cub Pack presenting the following boys to Scout Master Bill Megraw of the lst Terrace Assistant to the Man.Editor of the New York Bay Scout Troop: Ken Bradley seconder with one Times was the guest speaker, and his topic badge and first star; David Falzetta sixer, five "Life in Russia" was extremely oe badges and first star; Brian Hubelit sixer two to all. badges and 2nd-star; Tony Lafontaine seconder one badge and first star; David Mercéer sixer one badge and first star; Bob Wallwin sixer, two badges and first star, This brings the lst Terrace Bay Scout Troop up to a membership of twenty-six.
