The Commnity Church ministers to all Protestants in the area, and a hearty wel- come is extended to visitors in the district to worship with the congregation at the regular morning service which, during the month of August, will be held at ten o'clock. In Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, at 8,00 A.M. 10.00 A.M. and 11:30 A.M, In the Schreiber Gospel Mission the reg- ular services are Wednesday at & ?.M. On Sunday morning at 11 A.M. Sundey School for all age groups, and on Sunday ewenings at 7 PsM. the Gospel Church. UNITED CHURCH - Services in the United Church will be held at 11:00 A.M. with the Minister Rev.Russell Crook, B.A, in attendance. Mr.& Mrs.E.J.Sheehan enjoyed travelling to the Soo by boat in company with Mr. and Mrs.Clarence Lyttle of Ft.Wm, They drove together to Sydbury then separated, the Lyttle's to go further East and the Sheehan's to visit with Mr.& Mrs,James Sheehan Mr.& Mrs.Bill Lidkea and family are in Dartmouth, N.S, with Mr.& Mrs.M.Davis. John Stedean was called to Port Arthur where his mother is critically ill. Winterts annual fish derby was held on Aug.17th with over thirty of tae clan and friends attending. "Cap! Milt. Winters again had the Pate-Don lined up in readiness to take the non-fishers for cruises about the bay and the day ended with a picnic lunch and singsong. First prize was won by Fred Harness who was also awarded the trophy for the day's sweep; second prize went to John Jarosz, Third to Mrs.Victoria Winters. consolation to Harry Jartus and Draw Prize to Bertha Winters. Mr.H.F.Kyle has returned to Toronto after visiting his sister Mrs.Geo. Fields.
