ANNUAL HOCKEY "CLASSIC" WEDNESDAY --- AFRIL 9TH In the local arena next Wednesday begin- ning at 8 a.m, the 8th Annual 'game of the year' takes place. -- The Lunchpails versus the Talefaces for the S.H. Memorial Trophy. Both teams have been practicing and skating hard to get in shape? -- for this game. The Talefaces are out to even the Score this year. kecords indicate that this annual classic has been won three times by the lalefaces and four times by the Lunch- pails, Last year the score'was 6 to 3 for the Lunchpails, So the Palefaces are desperate to even the series. In order to. do so some former pros have been rein- stated for play in this competition. "Sneaky Tete" Harrison purposely stayed out of pro ranks this year to be eliszible for play and will assist the ralefaces in the coaching department. Drafty Teter Adamo is a big wheel this ' year in the Taleface bid for victory, "Old lugged" Johnny Gross, the Paleface manager is saying nothing. This could be a bad omen for the lalefaces. sue #aleraces know from experience that where there is no smoke there Cuuld be lots of fire. We have had some tense moments in hockey this year, Would Canada win the world champ- ionship? Would Superiors win the North Shore League? Was the iiocket to old to produce goals for the Canadiens? Now!! ~-- How many playe: will be standing on skates at the end of the Lunchpail-lIaleface game next Wednesday? We understand there will be a Silver collec- tion - proceeds for the Easter Seal Campaign. Neither team has divulged their line-up but we believe both benches will be well- Stacked with players (who will probably remain on the benches). So don't forget next Wed. night folks. This game will not be televised -i broadcast. To see it you will have to be at the Arena next VJednesday at 8 pm,
