In a fast hard-checking game present- ing tense moments at the nets of both teams and with each team largely and volubly supported the Superiors came out on top four to one. Smith from Whalen at 1:00 of play in the first period broke the egg for Superiors- From then and through the second period neither team could penetrate the opponents net. Marathon's bid for an equalizer was shattered by Simoneau at 11:31. Superiors offensive being the best defense kept yushing at the Marathon net for the ntemainder of the period. Their aid has been enlist- ed for the March of Dimes Campaign which is held each year to aid the victims of polio. In a blitz campaign, the Marching Mothers will call at homes and while any size donation will be welcome, the canvassers will be prepared to issue receipts at the door for gna tigns of one dollar apd over. These may e used for income tax deduction purposes, The Terrace Bay Group has been organized by Captain Nat Coates and Lieutenants will be members of the omen of the Moose, Terrace Bay Chapter. Terrace Bay is conducting this campaign in conjunction with many other points in Northwestern Ontario.
