GUIDES & BROWNIES gathered in the High School auditorium last Friday evening to bid fare- well to four first-class Brownies - Jane Heenan, and Holly Berndtsson from First Pack, Christine Flater and Velma LeBlanc from Second Pack when Conmissioner Maitland pinned on them their wings which entitled them to go into Guides, under Guide Captain Middaugh. Michele Slattery, Joanne Brown, Cheryl Moore and Sharon Timpano were the four new girls Commissioner Maitland enrolled POF tothe Fly-up. Guest speaker for the evening was Miss Marion Hanley from Marathon, Gold Cord Guide wno related her experience curing Her vcrp to the Centennial World Camp in Switzerland this summer. Lunch was served by the Local association under Social Convenor Mrs. -L. Crandlemire. FIRST PACK BROWNIES --- A Concert by the First brownie Pack is to be held December 12th at 6:50 in the larger meeting room of--the astecreation Centre. Parents and friends are. heartily welcome as the preceeds of this cengert are to go towards buying children's records for the local hospital.
