ww Whew ty oyet Vann ry A very popular young couple, Marion and Eldon Marostica with their children will leave this weekend to make their home in Fort William and will certainly be missed by this little community for the zeal with which they entered into such a variety of community projects and organizations, Prior to their departure Marion was entertained by her bridge Club with supper at Hotel Terrace and party to follow at the home of Mrs. Stella LeBlanc and received from them a Bun warmer. Another Bridge Club held an evening for her at the home of Mrs, Kay Graham when she was presented with a crystal bowl. Mrs. June Schritt entertained for Marion with a neighborhood party and Marion was then the recipient of a strani of pearls, Co-workers of Eldon's of the Office Staff of LongLac Pulp and Paper Company held a mixed party at the Armouries and presented the MarosticaS with a Decanter set. A Stag was also held for Eldon at the Curling Club Lounge with a very amusing programme of skits on Eldon's life in Terrace Bay and at that time he received from those attending a movie camera, A mixed party was held at the summer cabin of: Pat and Ralph Lindberg, The Knights of Columbus, of which Eldon is a Past Grand Knight ,-held still another evening for Eldon in the Guild Hall, Schreiber and at tmt time presented him with a very beautiful framed Oud rR pleating with Bea and Len Williams are her sister and his brother, Mr. and Mrs, Herb Williams and their daughter Sheila and also Bea's brother, Don Brumi of Hast Templeton, Quebec, Miss Millie Goswell of Brantford, Ontario is the guest of her sister, Mrs, Gertrude Soughton and family, Mrs. Grace Banks returned home last week from her holiday trip to visit in Nova Scotia (cont'd next col.) with Mrs, Harold Colyer in Dartmouth, Mrs, Gerald Boutilier in Bedford and her Mother, Mrs, Howard Palmer and brother and family, Mr, and Mrs. William Palmer of Kingston, Mr. Doug Thompson with Carolyn and Roddy have returned from their motor trip to Liver--- pool, Nova scotia where they were guests of Doug's Mother, Mrs,HaroldThompson, and sister and family, Mr. and Mrs, Dickerson and in Fredericton they were the guests of his sister, Mrs, Milton Fiander, Veronica Fedun returned home on Saturday having enjoyed sevenweeks in Keewatin, Ontario swith her grandparents, cant? Mr. and Mrs. Tom Edward returned home to Chapleau, Ontario on Thursday and had been the guests of their daughter, Ethyl Schock and family during that week, Sandra Timpano returned home to Levack, Ontario, Thursday morning having enjoyed a month's holiday with her cousin Sherri Timpano, Reggie and Peter Gombola with Darlene and Michael are home from a wonderful holiday in Neenah, Wisconsin where they were guests of Blaine and Gordon Rowlandson,. From there the two families travelled together to Green Bay, Wisconsin, Dells and Milwaukee,' Carl Connors celebrated his ninth birthday Tuesday the 27th with ten boys as his guests, Sister Connie Connors and Cheryl Moore assisted with the birthday lunch and the ai bale bingo, pool and various games, ~ Marge and Sax Lundberg are home from their holiday in Duluth and the Lakehead where they were guests of Marge's sister, Mrs, G. Artist of Fort William. They brought home their childrm , Joan, who had been guest of Marilyn Larson of Rosslyn and Karen and Bruce who had stayed with the Artists-for..the pre- vious three weeks, Inez and Art Reynolds with Maryellen and Lorny are also home from the holidays spent in Kamora with Inez! parents Mr. and Mrs. A, Koreen and Art's parents, Mr, and Mrs. A.
