On Wednesday night, May 8, the following were elected to the executive body of the Terrace Bay Amateur Hockey Association for 1957-58. At this meeting it was decided by a majority vote that Minor Hockey would divorce itself from the T.B.A.H.A., and would form a Minor Hockey Association to look after minor hockey in Terrace Bay, The formation of this Assoc- iation to be under the guidance of the Rec- reation Director, Ken Ward. The local governors to the North Shore Hockey League were also elected at this meeting and they are: Murdo Campbell, Bill Louk and Jack Kelty - alternate governor. Retiring President Bill Guest, thanked his Executive for their suoport during the past year, and thanked the various chairmen, managers, coaches and officials, as well as anyone who helped to make the 1956-57 hockey season successful in Terrace Bay. MINOR HOCKEY LEAGUE MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 16, 7:30 p.m. Next Thursday a meeting will be held in the Recreation Centre at 7:30 p.m. for all those interested in Minor Hockey in Terrace Bay. Purpose of the meeting is the formation of a Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Association.
