Tickets also may still be obtained for the Teen Town Grocery Raffle. Tickets are 25¢ each or 5 for »1.00, and may be purchased from any member of Teen Town, First prize is a grocery hamper valued at $15.00; second prize valued at $10.00. There will be twenty delegates from Terrace Bay attending this annual Youth Rally, They will leave Terrace Bay on April 24th, returning on April 28th, Del- egates, of course, will be in attendance from iwarathon, Schreiber, Nipigon, etc. 4 trio such as this requires a great deal of financing, and the teen-agers by various means are attempting to finance the trip entirely themselves, a chartered bus will take the Marathon and Terrace Bay delegates to Atikokan. HL A Life Membership, the highest honour . that can be bestowed by the N,S.H.L., was presented Peter Mazza at the Annual Meeting of the League held last Sunday in the Red Rock Inn, With Life Membership not to exceed .three, Peter was acclaimed the first Life Member by a unanimous vote. The motion of bestowing this honour was presented by Pres. A. J. Currie and Governor G. O'Neill after a letter was read from Peter which stated that he would not be able to allow his name to stand as a Governor representing the fran- chise of Terrace Bay. So that his knowledge and experience with the League may be imprinted in the archives, he will serve for the next year as its first Historian, and will begin to gather interesting data since its inception. In 1940-41 Peter helped to organize the first Intermediate League in the Lake- head, and was its first Vice-President, During this season he managed the Canadian Car Hockey Club to the \Jestern Canada Semi- finals, where his team lost to Swift Current, Sask, On December 19th, 1948 he attended a meeting in Schreiber which was called for all interested in organizing the N.S.H.L. as we know it today. Resulting from this meeting Bill Borsum was elected President, Eldon Marostica, Secretary-Treasurer, and Peter "Contact Man", In 1952-53 he served as Secretary- Treasurer to President H. N. Marsh, and in 1955-56 to President D. C. Porter. (Cont'd. on Page 9)
