For two anda half periods the Superiors more than held their own against a big and rugged Fort William Beaver club, but during the last 10 minutes of the game, the Beavers rallied and took full command, The final score was 6-3, the Beavers on top, but Terrace Bay doesn't have to feel bad about this loss. If a team ever looked good in losing, it was the Superiors last Saturday night. Irving put the Beavers on the scoreboard, Moro's second goal of the evening gave Terrace Bay a temporary 3-1 lead, but 2 quick goals by the Beavers evened things up and the 2nd period ended 3-3, The first two, periods were jammed with good hockey as the Superiors seldom let Fort William get its attack underway, As the Beavers said after the game, "every- time one of our players got the puck, there were 2 Superiors coming at him,"" The third period was going along good, but when Forslund, on an unassisted effort, scored the Beavers! 5th goal at 10,40, it seemed to take a little something out of our team.
